Re: [802SEC] Newcomer orientation time slot for future plenaries.
That is about what we have been doing (we include other WG officers or past officers besides vice chairs).
The concern that was raised to me is that more WGs are having meetings in parallel with the EC meeting so that putting the newcomer orientation in parallel with the EC still means that there are conflicts for the potential attendees.
That is why we have the discussion of a possible alternative time.

Perhaps we could have a WG vice chair give the newcomer orientation and
hold it during the 802 EC opening meeting?
