I'm voting Disapprove for the following reason:
It is wrong to this motion over an email ballot immediately after the
scope change document has been released.
This is a serious change to the scope of the TAG - equivalent to (or even
well beyond) a major PAR change for a Working Group. Therefore, it should
be discussed and approved at a plenary where we can consult with Working
Group constituencies.
Approximately half of the active work in IEEE 802.1 and 802.3 is focused
for automotive and industrial. This vote should occur when their chairs
have the ability to poll them on the topic.
On a more minor note: the motion assumes a name change for 802.24 but
doesn't approve it. The name change should be part of the motion.

This motion is taken under the normal process for approving EC actions and
according to 7.1.1, item a) "Formation or modification of a subgroup,
including its procedures, scope, and duties" requires a majority vote of
those responding.
