Max / Tony, Then I suggest we add a second item. I personally believe we should discuss how to enable getting groups working together closer or at least being better informed of each other’s efforts. We did away with the 802 opening plenary. Perhaps we should consider adding a tutorial once a year where we get all of the WG’s to give updates? From my own personal experience, I am reaching out to 802.11 for input, as well as been asked to go and talk with other groups regarding the industry connections vehicle. John From: Riegel, Maximilian (NSN - DE/Munich) [mailto:maximilian.riegel@nsn.com] I am not really happy with the title of the OmniRAN related topic, as mentioned below and would like to second Tony's proposal. I came up with the refined title to talk about cooperation with other WGs specific in the scope of the OmniRAN PAR. I do not see much correlation with the 400G Study Group, but John might be able to explain, why both cases would fit/complement each other. Bye Max From: ***** IEEE 802 Executive Committee List ***** [mailto:STDS-802-SEC@ieee.org] On Behalf Of ext John D'Ambrosia Tony, I would like to suggest leaving the agenda item on co-operation between WGs as is, and using OmniRAN as a case study, as well as the 400G Study Group as another case study. I am happy to share the time with Max. John From: owner-stds-802-sec@ieee.org [mailto:owner-stds-802-sec@ieee.org] On Behalf Of Tony Jeffree Hi Adrian A few points: "Definitions of Mesh and Bridging" sounds to me like a technical topic, and as such, is not an appropriate topic for an EC offsite. Please remove this from the agenda. I believe that where we ended up in our offline discussion regarding OmniRAN was Max's suggestion that the topic should be "Cooperation and contributions of the other WGs in the 802.1-OmniRAN project". Please change that agenda item accordingly. I would like to add 2 topics to the agenda: - Adherence to "Procedure for PARs" - Term limits for Sponsor officers Regards, On 28 August 2013 11:18, Stephens, Adrian P <Adrian.P.Stephens@intel.com> wrote: Dear 802.11EC, The agenda items collected so far for the EC workshop are as follows:
There is room for a couple of additional substantial topics for discussion. If you have an idea for an agenda item, or wish to volunteer, please let me know asap.
