Re: [802SEC] IEEE 802 University Outreach program - draft press release review
I read the statement in the press release as about standards that IEEE 802 is developing, not IEEE standards in general since it is describing what the IEEE 802 University Outreach program will introduce participants to.
"IEEE, the world's largest professional association
advancing technology worldwide, today announced formation of the IEEE 802® LAN/MAN
Standards Committee (LMSC) University Outreach Program to engage university and college
students and faculty in standards development that will improve communication for communities
everywhere, with many positive results including longer battery life, faster Internet access,
improved health, and better security."
