Re: [802SEC] IEEE 802 University Outreach program - draft press release review
David-
I would rearrange and reword the 2nd paragraph as follows. Split it
too. Newspapers have short paragraphs.
==============================
The first University Outreach day will be at the San Diego IEEE 802
Plenary on July 17. It will begin with an orientation session, then
spend most of the day with opportunities to sit in on the groups
actually developing standards. The program will conclude with a session
soliciting questions and feedback from participants. Interested students
and faculty can find additional information on and register for the July
IEEE 802 University Outreach day via:
https://802world.org/plenary/university-outreach/.
IEEE 802 plenary meetings are regularly held three times per year, in
March, July, and November.
Beginning with the July meeting in San Diego, the IEEE 802 plenary
meetings will welcome
college and university students and faculty to IEEE 802 University
Outreach day at a special
registration fee of only $25.00.

Dear EC members,
The IEEE-SA has prepared a press release to announce the launch of the IEEE 802 University Outreach program and to publicise the IEEE 802 University Outreach day at the July plenary.
Since the development of this press release was at my request I'm seeking EC approval, however before making a motion to seek endorsement I would like to request comments on the draft press release which is attached.
If you can get your comments to me by Wednesday 9th May it would be most appreciated.
Thanks and best regards,
David Law
