Re: [802SEC] 2024 November 802 Plenary: 802.11 Comments on PARS under consideration

No Comment Response was received by the Deadline, but we note that the proposed changes from 802.11 were in fact addressed.  
Thank You.

For the last sentence of 5.5, the change we suggested has better grammar and provides additional content to point out the consequences of not doing this project. We would ask that our suggested sentence be used.
While reviewing today in our 802.11 PAR Review SC, we note that 8.1 does not list P802.16t.
8.1 should spell out the full Standard name as it is cited in the PAR noting section 5.5.

The 802.11 PAR Review SC reviewed 3 PARs under consideration in this week's Session.

P802.1CB - Standard - Frame Replication and Elimination for Reliability - Revision to IEEE Standard 802.1CB-2017, PAR - Slide 18:

No Comment

P802.1CBec - Amendment - Guidance for Sequence Recovery Function Parameter Configuration, PAR and CSD - Slide 19:

5.2.b The Scope of the project is a long introductory sentence.  Suggest adding a comma  “function parameters, and provides guidance”.

5.2b “. This amendment also includes technical and editorial corrections in the description of existing IEEE Std 802.1CB functionality.” this overlaps the P802.1CB revision PAR and would not be needed as both PARs are in progress at the same time. The Revision Project should be able to address these corrections.  Consider if this statement is really needed.  

No Comment on CSD
P802.16 - Standard  for Air Interface for Broadband Wireless Access Systems - Revision to IEEE Standard 802.16-2017, PAR - Slide 20:

5.1 The number of people actively involved is listed as 5. This does not show much support for this project. However, we understand that 802.16t needs to be rolled into the standard. We would suggest setting this number to 10 to avoid concerns at the NesCom review level.  
5.5 Need: “Revision of the standard is required to incorporate one amendment (P802.16t-2024)”  add to the end: “The current standard is nearing the end of the 10-year lifetime, and a revision is needed to keep the standard active.”
