Re: [802SEC] Sold out hotel.

I thought the purpose of the penalty was to encourage people to stay at the hotel to fill up the block that IEEE promised to fill. If that promise has been kept then why penalize people who are unable to stay in a full hotel? Just to get the added $$$ in IEEE coffers? Seems wrong.

  Care to justify this decision?

  Dan.

After some discussion, the decision is to not allow a sold-out hotel to be an uexcuse to waive the penalty for not staying in the hotel.
