| Session 3: Synchronization and TSN
Synchronization and the propagation of time is a fundamental networking technology in various industries, e.g., in telecommunication networks (e.g., to support the operation of cellular networks), in industrial automation, in in-vehicle networks like automotive and aerospace. Time synchronization is also one of the tools in the toolset of IEEE 802.1 Time-Sensitive Networking. This session provides updates and future plans of the following groups actively dealing with synchronization: ITU-T Q13/15, IEEE 1588, 802.1, and 802.3.
Moderators: János Farkas, Ericsson, IEEE 802.1 TSN Task Group Chair & Stefano Ruffini, Calnex, ITU-T Q13/15 Rapporteur - Stefano Ruffini, Calnex, ITU-T Q13/15 Rapporteur: Q13/15, Evolution of Synchronization Technologies – Synchronization solutions to address new needs in terms of resiliency, and interworking with new applications (e.g., TSN)
- Steve Gorshe, Microchip, ITU-T Q11/15 Rapporteur: Synchronization over Optical Technologies – PTP over GMP, IEEE P802.3cx, PTP over optical interfaces
- Rodney Cummings (TBC), Keysight, IEEE 1588 Vice Chair: IEEE 1588 Evolution – Latest amendments, protocol evolution
- Silvana Rodrigues, Huawei, ITU-T Q13/15 Associate Rapporteur, P802.1AS-2020-REV, P802.1ASdr, P802.1ASds Editor, & Geoffrey Garner, Analog Devices Inc., P802.1ASdm Editor : IEEE 802.1AS Developments and Inclusive Terminology in ITU-T and in IEEE 802.1AS – Evolution of IEEE 802.1AS and its amendments, and updates in terminology in ITU-T Recommendations and IEEE 802.1AS

| Session 4: YANG and Data Modelling
This session is about the practicalities of leveraging NETCONF/YANG for network modeling. The presentations provide background on YANG and how it has matured over the past ten years in adoption and application. Examples are provided to demonstrate the use of modeling techniques and tools to validate models. Recent news about how YANG is being used in the ecosystem are also provided.
Moderators: Scott Mansfield, Ericsson, IEEE 802 YANGsters Chair, ITU-T Q14/15 Rapporteur Stephan Kehrer (TBC), Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH: YANG Introduction – Introduction to NETCONF, RESTCONF, CORECONF, and YANG basics
- Scott Mansfield, Ericsson: Advancements in YANG – Provide a review of the latest guidelines and functionality enhancements from the IETF
- Martin Mittelberger (TBC), Siemens AG: Writing YANG Profiles – Example of using profiles of IEEE YANG in Industrial Applications
