Based on the recent approval of the IEEE Std 802.3cs-2022 IEEE Standard for Ethernet Amendment 2: Physical Layers and Management Parameters for Increased-Reach Point-to-Multipoint Ethernet Optical Subscriber Access (Super-PON), the IEEE Std 802.3db-2022 IEEE Standard for Ethernet Amendment 3: Physical Layer Specifications and Management Parameters for 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Operation over Optical Fiber using 100 Gb/s Signaling and the IEEE Std 802.3-2022 IEEE Standard for Ethernet Amendment 4: Physical Layer Specifications and Management Parameters for 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Electrical Interfaces Based on 100 Gb/s Signaling standards, I've arranged for the development of a Beyond Standards blog post.

Since the development of this blog post was at the request of the Task Force Chairs and myself, I'll be seeking IEEE 802 EC approval of the blog post at the IEEE 802 EC Opening Plenary meeting on Monday 14 November 2022.
