Hi John, I was not suggesting we require proof of vaccination or proof of previous infection. Regards, Steve From: jdambrosia@gmail.com <jdambrosia@gmail.com> WARNING:

Steve Please reply to my comment – do we need to require proof that someone had the infection? And if so, you are ok with the possibility that it was a false positive? This isn’t a science question – it is a process question. John From: ***** IEEE 802 Executive Committee List ***** <STDS-802-SEC@ieee.org>
On Behalf Of Steve Shellhammer Andrew, There have been studies showing that natural infection is much stronger than the vaccines. Also the vaccines also last only about 6 months, hence the booster shots. I am not going to get into a long email debate on this, which I do not think would be a good use of my time. I am sure we will disagree. I cannot support these non-scientific rules. I will leave it at that. Over and Out, Steve From: Andrew Myles (amyles) <amyles@cisco.com>

… which suggests strong protection following natural infection is short-lived Andrew From: ***** IEEE 802 Executive Committee List ***** <STDS-802-SEC@ieee.org>
On Behalf Of Steve Shellhammer Can’t support a non-scientific plan like this. Suggesting that a person previously infected must get vaccinated is non-scientific. I will stop there. Regards, Steve From: ***** IEEE 802 Executive Committee List ***** <STDS-802-SEC@ieee.org>
