Guys- I don’t agree. I would recommend this plan for Nov only, regardless of the Sept 7 EC decision regarding the F2F meeting, as it gives as a firm schedule that could accommodate a slip back to a virtual meeting for the Nov Plenary if things go further south between Sept and Nov, and we have to make this change. Please note this would affect the 802 EC opening date and par comments due date only – the closing date accommodates either a virtual or F2F meeting. As this would be our first meeting back – I would recommend the conservative approach. One thing John, James, & I discussed was that if we have a mixed mode meeting the rules committee would have time to look at what other rules might need suspension. A quick look suggested there was plenty of time for that to happen, but that these rules would need to be suspended anyways. If, in the unlikely event we chose to hold a conventional in-person meeting, we would not need these suspensions. -george From: ***** IEEE 802 Executive Committee List ***** <STDS-802-SEC@ieee.org> On Behalf Of Jon Rosdahl If the 2021 November Plenary becomes an Electronic Plenary, I would support your proposal.
