James, Geoff, I think you both are putting too much weight on “definitive”. I noticed a minor difference between the pdf and web versions of the SA Ops Manual. Mr. Ringle is the administrator of ProCom, SASB, and BOG (BOG administrator being most important for the SA Operations Manual). So, I sent a note to Mr. Ringle to tell him a word was capitalized in the web version and not capitalized in the pdf. I also noted that it could be a errata in the web version introduced when adding a hot link. Administrators are absolutely the most authoritative person to indicate which of multiple versions of a document is most likely to match what was approved. If what was approved is an easily editable document (e.g., .docx), errata can be introduced — people make mistakes. I assume Geoff’s intent was to highlight (absent a clear indication on the SA web site) which of the two versions available should have precedence if they differ. — Bob On Aug 24, 2020, at 10:20 PM, Geoff Thompson <thompson@ieee.org> wrote:
