Is your operating unit working on programs that are in response to, or are being impacted by, the pandemic? If so, the IEEE Foundation invites you to submit a proposal for funding from the IEEE Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund.
Our world is facing an unprecedented crisis in the form of the COVID-19 pandemic. This crisis is unlike any we have dealt with before - the scope is global in nature and every individual on the planet is affected. IEEE is not immune to the effects of COVID-19 as services are being disrupted throughout the organization. We will likely soon need the assistance of all IEEE Stakeholders, in ways we never have before, to support the continuation of the core mission activities of IEEE.
As an association, we continue to find ways to innovate and support our constituents and the global community at large in this time of need. Everyone is rallying together to identify IEEE resources, programs and initiatives that can be shared and used. New ideas are being identified continuously, many of which are linked directly to Goals outlined in the
IEEE Strategic Plan with some having a financial impact on our business.
Given the challenges and IEEE's response to the global pandemic, the IEEE Foundation has established the
IEEE Foundation COVID-19 Response Fund to help. The goal of the Fund is to ensure that resources exist to support the IEEE strategic goals that are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
If you should have any questions regarding the Fund, please send an email to foundation-office@ieee.org.
