Hello everyone,Just a note that IEEE's recommendation with respect to visas is to refer to your country's consulate or state department (e.g., the US State Department website is https://www.state.gov/travel; country‐specific information can be obtained from https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/international-travel.html).Regards,Yvette Ho Sang, MBA, ARMDirector, IPR and Risk MgmtIEEE Standards Association445 Hoes LanePiscataway, NJ 08854Tel: +1 732 562 3814Mobile: +1 732 690 9863Fax: +1 732 562 1571Fostering technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. On Fri, Sep 21, 2018 at 7:42 AM Bob Heile <bheile@ieee.org> wrote:Hi all
Making good progress on securing endorsed event status for the upcoming
plenary. The TCEB has indicated they will support our meeting pending
completion of one last set of paperwork. We should have that posting well
in advance of the plenary. Likewise, I will post some recent experiences,
in the next week or so, on what to expect on entering the country. My hope
is that will ease some of the concerns that some of our people have.
