EXTERNAL EMAIL -- This message originates from outside our organization.
EC,
I received this email requesting a briefing on the IEEE work on Spectrum Sharing.
Within 802.19 we can prepare some material on our work. Thought this might be relevant to other groups (eg. 802.22 TVWS).
Not sure we have really any work ongoing sharing with Federal Spectrum.
If anyone would like to provide input please notify me.
I am on vacation currently, so only checking email sporadically.
Steve

Subject: NITRD Wireless Spectrum R&D IWG: Request for a briefing
Dear Steve,
On behalf of the members of the NITRD Wireless Spectrum R&D Interagency Working Group, we would like a briefing from the IEEE on the latest work regarding spectrum sharing both licensed and unlicensed. Our group, which is composed of Federal agency representatives that deal with the issues surrounding spectrum sharing R&D, are particularly interested in bi-lateral sharing between the Federal sector and the Commercial sector. Could you, or can you recommend someone who could, brief us on what IEEE is currently working on in this area? We meet once a month on the first Thursday form 10-Noon at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, VA. A virtual presentation is also an option.
Thank you in advance for assisting us in this matter
Best regards,
Wendy Wigen
