Dear All, The 802.22 Working Group EC Closing Motion package may be found at the following URL:
The Motion pertains to withdrawing the 802.22.1 Revision PAR on Advanced Beaconing.
This technology proposed to enable means for spectrum sharing between high power Radars and Commercial Communications Devices using advanced beaconing.
However, FCC and the Department of Defense decided to have spectrum sensing as the only way to enable spectrum sharing in the 3.5 GHz Citizens Band Radio Service (CBRS) for now with adoption of
a beacon at a later date. Hence we would like to withdraw this PAR at this time.
