Dear EC members, At the March 2016 IEEE 802 Plenary meeting, conditional approval was granted to forward IEEE P802.3bq 25G/40GBASE-T to RevCom. Details are provided in the attached report, but in summary the response to the IEEE 802 LMSC Operations Manual Clause 12 'Procedure for conditional approval to forward a draft standard' items are as follows: a) The recirculation balloting is complete. The third recirculation ballot occurred in accordance to the plan presented. The planned comment resolution meeting was cancelled as no comments were received. b) The approval rate of the recirculation ballot is greater than 75% and there are no new disapprove votes. c) No changes have been made to the draft. d) There are no new valid DISAPPROVE votes or comments on new issues. e) There are no new invalid DISAPPROVE votes which require details to the Sponsor. f) Please see the attached for the date the ballot closed and the vote tally. Based on the above I will keep IEEE P802.3bq on the June RevCom meeting agenda. Best regards, David ---------- This email is sent from the 802 Executive Committee email reflector.
