Getting to Macao Fly to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) - http://www.hongkongairport.com/eng/index.html Fly in to Hong Kong International Airport, one of the largest global airline hubs, and go directly to the SkyPier (avoiding the need to clear immigration in Hong Kong). Take a ferry to one of the peninsula's two ferry terminals, a jaunt that takes a mere 45 to 50 minutes. Fly to Macau International Airport - http://www.macau-airport.com/en/ Fly directly into Macau International Airport, and be at The Sands Venetian Macao Hotel in less than ten minutes, courtesy of a free shuttle bus service. Ferry Service From Hong Kong - http://www.cotaiwaterjet.com/index.html The Cotai Water Jet Ferry service also runs regular crossings directly from Hong Kong and Kowloon. Arriving by ferry, both Macau Taipa and Macau Outer Harbour terminals have courtesy shuttle buses to The Sands Venetian Macao Hotel, with a short journey of between five and 15 minutes. Trip Advisor ‘Things to Know About Macau’ The travel service site Trip Advisor has compiled an extensive listing of information about Macau. The site contains a very complete and up to date “how to” with lots of useful detailed sublinks with information you may wish to know as you prepare for the March 2016 IEEE 802 Plenary Session. Insider Tip from IEEE 802.15 Chair Dr. Robert Heile Use the airport express train (instead of bus 11) if you do not mind a 1km or so walk between the express train stations and the ferry terminals in either Kowloon or Hong Kong Island. All are easy to find on Google Maps. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Travel-g664891-c211473/Macau:China:Skypier.To.Macau.All.You.Need.To.Know.html Email Distribution List We provide e-mailed session announcements and updates via a Meeting Information email distribution list.
