Hello all, I don’t mind which solution we end up with. $5k is not something we should spend a lot of time agonizing over. Of USB vs DVD, I prefer DVD, because storage of DVDs is easier than storage of assorted shape-and-size usb adapters. I do have a DVD drive in my laptop. My preference is none of the above – i.e. electronic access during the meeting to an image of the DVD that could be downloaded. On Behalf Of John DAmbrosia Dear WG Chairs, On the heels of the discussion of DVD versus Memory sticks at the July Closing Plenary – I had some individuals approach me and highlight that they are aware of a number of companies that have issues with memory sticks
– and may actually take the contents of the memory sticks and then copy to a drive on the network. I am requesting that you try and get some input for me on the topic of memory sticks from participants in your WG and have the individuals email me if they have issues with memory sticks. I need to get this information quickly in order to begin the task of preparations for the 2016 electronic media distribution, so a prompt response will be greatly appreciated. Regards, John D’Ambrosia Recording Secretary, IEEE 802 LMSC ---------- This email is sent from the 802 Executive Committee email reflector. This list is maintained by Listserv.
