Re: [802SEC] Webex and Recording
The issue of the WebEx notice about automatically consenting to recordings by joining the session came up last June.
>> IMPORTANT NOTICE: This WebEx service includes a feature that allows audio
>> and any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the
>> session to be recorded. By joining this session, you automatically
>> consent to such recordings. If you do not consent to the recording,

I've noticed that since then the notice at the end of Broadcom hosted WebEx notifications is:
"IMPORTANT NOTICE: This WebEx service includes a feature that allows audio and any documents and other materials exchanged or viewed during the session to be recorded. You should inform all meeting attendees prior to recording if you intend to record the meeting. Please note that any such recordings may be subject to discovery in the event of litigation."
Apparently there is a way at least for administrators of your WebEx service to change the notice to remove the text about implied consent to record to something that is more consistent with our policy.

Pat
