----------
This email is sent from the 802 Executive Committee email reflector. This list is maintained by Listserv.
Based on the official current participant list for next week's WTSA, the attendance is shaping up to be unusually skewed with participants who normally have little to do with ITU-T. The participants by regional breakdown are as follows. A great many countries are apparently not sending anyone. In the African region, 38 out of 54 are going In the Australia-Oceania region, only 2 out of a total of 12 are going. In Central America & the Caribbean, only 4 out of out of a total 20 are going. In Central Asia, 4 out of 6 are going. In East & Southeast Asia, 10 out of 17 are going. In Europe, 20 out of 44 are going. Most of the larger European countries are sending only a handful of people or no one. In the Middle East, 13 out of 17 are going. All in North America are going. In South America only 4 out of 12 are going. In South Asia, 5 out of 8 are going. No one from India. --tony |
