RR-TAG, Please see the message below regarding digital dividend. Not that there isn’t enough on our agenda I’ll be adding a review and possible response to this. Glad to discuss. Regards, Mike From: owner-rsg1-cg-dig-dividend@itu.int [mailto:owner-rsg1-cg-dig-dividend@itu.int] On Behalf Of Aubineau, Philippe Dear Colleagues, Please find below an Email from the Chairman of the Correspondence Group. Best regards, Philippe Aubineau Von: 221b In accordance with the Terms of Reference of the ITU-R Study Group 1 Correspondence Group (CG) on Digital Dividend issues, I would like to invite the membership to provide information on national and regional experience in spectrum management of the Digital Dividend, in the form of contributions to the CG. Based on the information submitted, we would have to identify the spectrum management aspects of Digital Dividend to be further considered by SG 1, as well as to define the scope, structure of an ITU-R Report on Digital Dividend issues. Please note that one ITU publication has already been identified and is relevant to the work of the CG. A draft version of this ITU Report on “Digital Dividend: insights for spectrum decisions“ was provided for information during the June 2012 meeting of ITU-R Study Group 1. It has recently been published and a copy of it can be found on the FTP server of the Correspondence Group at: http://ties.itu.int/u/itu-r/ede/rsg1/rsg1-cg-dig-dividend/. It addresses the need to provide a detailed insight into what the digital dividend process entails and to help national and internal spectrum decision makers to allocate and manage the digital dividend process. My suggestion would be that this Report be used as background information and as a starting point for the membership to provide comments/contributions to the work of the CG as early as possible and preferably not later than end of March 2013, with a view to consolidate a first draft report of the CG in time for the next SG 1 block of meetings in June next year.
