Re: [802SEC] Ballot update [802SEC] +++EC 'early close' Email Ballot+++ to authorize $1200 expenditure for P1905.1 draft access
Dear EC,
What follows is a listing of those from whom I have received a response on this ballot, and they all are "approve". As Paul has noted I was (and at times still am having) difficulties with my primary email "mjlynch@mjlallc.com". If you have voted and your name is not on the list please resend it to that address (maybe it will work) and to freqmgr@sbcglobal.net.
The eight responses received thus far, all approving the submissions, have come from:
Chaplin
Rosdahl
Heile
D'Ambrosia
Das
Jeffree
Kraemer
Lynch
If I have missed your vote, my apologies. Please resend it. My email issues should be resolved when everything gets moved over to a service provided by some company named "Microsoft", and that hopefully will happen in the coming week.
Regards,
Mike

Subject: [802SEC] +++EC 'early close' Email Ballot+++ to authorize $1200 expenditure for P1905.1 draft access
Dear EC Members,
This is an early close (not to exceed 10 days) EC Email ballot.
Motion: To authorize a $1200 expenditure for access to 50 copies of the
P1905.1 recirc draft.
Moved: James Gilb, Second Mike Lynch.
Please cast a vote as soon as possible in order for me to declare a final decision in as short a time as possible. The recirc period opens Monday 10SEP, the sooner this motion is decided, the more time the 802 reviewers will have to review and comment on the draft.
Regards,

4.1.2.2 Electronic Balloting
The minimum duration of an electronic ballot shall be 10 days1. For urgent matters once sufficient response is received to clearly decide a matter, the ballot may be closed early. This allows a decision to be reach in less than
10 days. Ballots where the possibility of an early close exists must be clearly marked accordingly.

Dear EC members,

gain access to the 1905.1 recirc draft. The recirc opens Monday.
Please let me know your opinion and if you think we should purchase the

Subject: P1905.1 draft access
Paul
To enable the 802 Community access to the revised P1905.1 draft (that is
anticipated to be in recirculation next week) so that it can submit comments
to the P1905.1 working group, the SA will provide a network license
agreement to 802. The agreement allows for up to 50 individual users at a
one time fee of $1200, and eliminates the burden of individuals in the 802
community having to purchase the draft. The license agreement will provide
unlimited access to the draft for review and comment. A draft of the license
agreement is attached for your review and reference.
We will post the draft in a private area--providing a user name and password
for access.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
