Sure you archive – that’s the way the tool works and it’s helpful for those who have an email interruption. See for example: http://www.ieee802.org/11/email/stds-802-11/ http://www.ieee802.org/11/email/stds-802-11-tgac/ By examination, apparently the answer is that the archives are openly available. On Behalf Of Bruce Kraemer Geoff, We don’t archive, we just distribute. Bruce From: Geoff Thompson
[mailto:thompson@ieee.org] Bruce- Pat, For 802.11, anyone can join our WG reflector and receive/monitor traffic. We have a number of additional TG specific reflectors for which we require the subscriber to have attended one meeting. On Behalf Of Pat Thaler This is another action item from the IETF/IEEE 802 leadership meeting. There is a perception that at least some groups have restrictions on joining their reflectors that make it difficult for IETF participants to contribute without attending an IEEE 802 meeting. We agreed to look at our policies and see what
could be done. To start off, WG chairs, please send me your group’s requirements for joining your WG and TG reflectors. I’ll compile the results. Regards, Pat ---------- This email is sent from the 802 Executive Committee email reflector. This list is maintained by Listserv.
