Dear IEEE 802 WG Chairs The IEEE 802 JTC1 Standing Committee will be meeting at the
San Diego Plenary meeting of IEEE 802. Three sessions have been arranged to
which all IEEE 802 participant are encouraged to attend: ·

experience The item in bold above is very relevant for any IEEE 802 WG
that is considering submitting IEEE 802 standards to ISO/IEC JTC1/SC6 under the
PSDO, particularly IEEE 802.1 WG and IEEEE 802.3 WG. It may be the last chance
that IEEE 802 participants will have to influence the details of the proposed
agreement between IEEE 802 and SC6 to give IEEE 802 the responsibility to extend
and maintain ISO/IEC versions of IEEE 802 standards. The full agenda is available in 11-12-0778-01-0jtc.
