[802SEC] WP1A Working document towards a PDN Report ITU-R SM.[SMART_GRID] - Smart grid power management systems

Dear EC and RR-TAG,

 

Today the Annexes to the ITU-R WP1A Chairman’s report (or at least ten of them) were posted on the ITU-R web site. One of them, Annex 03, is titled “Working document towards a PDN Report ITU-R SM.[SMART_GRID] - Smart grid power management systems”. This document has been posted to the 802.18 Mentor web site as Doc. 18-12-0056. This can be used a model as IEEE 802 develops a contribution to WP1A.

 

I noted that some of the data in the WP1A draft appears to have been taken from the 2011 contribution by IEEE 802 to ITU-R WP1B. As some will remember that report originally was meant to say that radiocommmunication systems were not appropriate for Smart Grid management. Many in WP1B credit IEEE 802 for “fixing” the report.
