Dear EC, Apologies for the second email but this liaison from ITU-R WP5A also deals with “THE REVISION WORK ON RECOMMENDATION ITU-R M.1801” titled “Radio interface standards for broadband wireless access systems, including mobile and nomadic applications, in the mobile service operating below 6 GHz”. This working document has been uploaded to the 802.18 Mentor web site as 18-12-0053. The revisions do not appear to impact the 802 standards listed – 802.11, 802.16 and 802.20. Appropriate responses to ITU-R WP5A on Recommendation ITU-R M.1801 and Report ITU-R M.2116-1 will be due by October 29th for the WP5A November meeting. Regards, Mike From: MJLynch@mjlallc.com Dear EC, Forwarded here is a liaison from ITU-R WP5A dealing with a “WORKING DOCUMENT TOWARDS A PRELIMINARY DRAFT REVISION OF REPORT ITU-R M.2116-1” which is titled “Characteristics of broadband wireless access systems operating in the land mobile service for use in sharing studies”. John Notor, the 802.18 vice-chair, was kind enough to go onto the ITU-R web site and upload the actual text being revised to the 802.18 web site as 18-12-0054. This liaison would seem to be principally of interest to 802.16. Regards, Mike From: Mostyn-Jones, Elizabeth [mailto:elizabeth.mostyn@itu.int] Dear Sir/Madam Please find attached a liaison statement regarding the revision work on Recommendation ITU-R M.1801 and Report ITU‑R M.2116.
