Re: [802SEC] +++ 10-day EC Email Ballot +++ IEEE 802 Comments Supporting License-Exempt Usage of TV White Spaces
Apurva,
I will again remove the footnote from that place. It has repeatedly "re-appeared" in editing this document. Probably an artifact of too many versions of Word. It seems to re-appear everytime something is changed in the document. In this case it seemingly re-appeared after adding the IEEE 802 letter head.
I'm surprised about the name spelling since it was a cut and paste. Yes it will be corrected.
Regards,
Mike

Mike,
I Approve,
pending two edits
1. The FootNote #1 re-appears in Comment 4 and it needs to be removed
2. Spelling - Marlene S. Dortch and not Marlese S. Dortch
Regards
Mody

Subject: [802SEC] +++ 10-day EC Email Ballot +++ IEEE 802 Comments Supporting License-Exempt Usage of TV White Spaces
Dear EC,
802.18 held two conference calls last week to review, edit and ultimately approve document 18-12-0030-07 for submission to the FCC. The document encourages the FCC to preserve a portion of the TVWS for license-exempt technologies. The final 802.18 vote approving the document on 25 April was 5/0/0.
Subsequently document 18-12-0030-08 was generated with edits such as formatting changes, the addition of an IEEE 802 letterhead, Paul's and my signature blocks. It is available on the IEEE 802.18 Mentor web site.
Paul has authorized me to conduct a ten day EC mail ballot on the following motion.
MOTION: The EC approves document 18-12-0030-08, titled "IEEE 802 Comments Supporting License-Exempt Usage of TV White Spaces". Mover-Mike Lynch, Seconder-Apurva Mody
Motion for a 10 day ballot:
Start of ballot: 30 April
Close of ballot: 9 May
As per current P&P the ballot will close earlier if it becomes apparent that the question has been determined.
Regards,
Mike
