I wonder how they plan to publicize it. It is in one of the rotating banner spots on standards.ieee.org, but if you don't watch the banner or go directly without visiting the home page, you will miss it. And this is the first time I've seen the standards insight pages so this email was the first that I saw it.
BTW, there is also a post on www.standardsinsight.com on IEEE standards for consumer connectivity:
