[802SEC] Conditions to forward IEEE802.15.6 to RevCom have been met



Dear EC,

In November 2011 the EC granted conditional approval to submit 802.15.6 (Body Area Networks) to RevCom.

Based upon the results of the most recent recirculation ballot, the terms of the conditional approval have been met.

Conditional approval checklist status is summarized below.

** As per LMSC OM Clause 14:
a) Recirculation ballot is completed. Generally, the recirculation ballot and resolution should occur in accordance with the schedule presented at the time of conditional approval.

- The Ballot occurred, in accordance with the tentative schedule presented to the EC.

The stats are as follows:

RESPONSE RATE
This ballot has met the 75% returned ballot requirement.

0 negative votes without comments
11 abstention votes: (Conflict of Interest: 1, Lack of expertise: 2, Lack of time: 5, Other: 3)
140 votes received = 90% returned
7% abstention
APPROVAL RATE
The 75% affirmation requirement is being met.
122 affirmative votes
7 negative votes with comments
129 votes = 94% affirmative
No new Disapprove voters, no new Must Be Satisfied comments
One comment was editorial coordination (draft meets editorial requirements), five comments from two Disapprove Voters, all five are not new.

c) No technical changes, as determined by the WG Chair, were made as a result of the recirculation ballot.

- This was a recirculation of an unchanged draft and no change has resulted from this recirculation

d) No new valid DISAPPROVE comments on new issues that are not resolved to the satisfaction of the submitter from existing DISAPPROVE voters

   - No new DISAPPROVE comments were received.

** If the WG Chair determines that there is a new invalid DISAPPROVE comment or vote, the WG Chair shall promptly provide details to the Sponsor.

   -None

** The WG Chair shall immediately report the results of the ballot to the Sponsor including: the date the ballot closed, vote tally and comments associated with any remaining disapproves (valid and invalid), the WG responses and the rationale for ruling any vote invalid.

   - The Ballot closed on December 17, 2011
