Hilton Waikoloa Welcomes the IEEE 802 Plenary Session in March 2012
The March 2012 IEEE 802 Plenary Session will take place March 11-16, 2012 at
the Hilton Waikoloa Village Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii.
Situated on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii’s Big Island, the Hilton Waikoloa
Village Resort (HWV) is approximately 25 minutes drive from the Kona
International Airport (KOA).
Known for exceptional meeting and event services, the Hilton Waikoloa
Village is a world class meeting destination and a good choice for the March
2012 IEEE 802 Plenary Session.

Registration Fees & Deadlines
Early: Before 6pm Pacific Time, Friday, January 27, 2012
(UTC Time: 2am Saturday, January 28, 2012)
* $500 US for attendees staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village
* $800 US for all others (including local attendees)
Standard: After Early Bird and before 6pm Pacific Time, Friday March 2, 2012
(UTC Time: 2am Saturday, March 2, 2012)
* $600 US for attendees staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village
* $900 US for all others (including local attendees)
Late/On-site: After 6pm Pacific Time March 2, 2012
* $700 US for attendees staying at the Hilton Waikoloa Village
* $1000 US for all others (including local attendees)

Registration Policy
Session Registration: Registration is available through a secure website and
requires a valid credit card for the payment of the registration fee; checks
are NOT accepted for web-registration.
Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled part of
an 802 Plenary Session must register for the full session.
Session registrations are not transferable to another individual or to
another plenary session.
If you register for an IEEE 802 Plenary session and then are unable to
attend, you must request cancellation of your registration before the
cancellation deadline to be eligible for a refund of all or part of the fees
paid.
After you have Registered for the Session, Registration Cancellation
Requests and Visa Invitation Requests may be submitted via a link on the
event website at: http://802world.org/plenary
Cancellation & Refund Policy
In order to obtain a refund of all or part of the fees paid you must request
cancellation of your registration before the deadline.
FULL REFUND DEADLINE: January 27, 2012
LATE CANCELLATION DEADLINE (Refund = Fee paid -$100 US): March 2, 2012

Group Hotel Registration Discount Policy
The March 2012 IEEE 802 Plenary Registration Fee will be discounted by $300
US for attendees booking and staying one/more nights at the IEEE-802
contracted hotel: Hilton Waikoloa Village.
Attendees who elect to share accommodations must ensure that all members of
the rooming party are listed on the hotel register before arrival or upon
check-in at the hotel so that their hotel stay can be verified by the hotel.
Please note: payment of the $300 US surcharge will be required onsite if an
attendee’s hotel stay cannot be verified by the hotel.

IEEE 802 Plenary Session Group Hotel Rates
EARLY BIRD GROUP RATE $169/Night (plus applicable taxes)*
*Early Bird Rate will apply until 50% of the IEEE 802 Room Block is
reserved, after such time the regular group rate will apply so please book
early to ensure receiving the discount rate.
Rate applies to Single/Double Occupancy Run of House Rooms.
Extra Adults (>2) are an additional $20/Night (plus applicable taxes).
Regular GROUP RATE $179/Night (plus applicable taxes)*
*AFTER 50% of the IEEE 802 Room Block is reserved or January 28th, 2012,
whichever comes first, the regular group rate will apply, so please book
early to ensure receiving the discount rate.
Rate applies to Single/Double Occupancy Run of House Rooms.
Extra Adults (>2) are an additional $20/Night (plus applicable taxes).
CHILDREN SHARING ROOM WITH PARENTS - NO CHARGE*
* Children up to age 21 years of age may share a guest room with their
parents at no charge.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
No penalty if cancelled prior to 6 PM HST (Hawaii Standard Time) on Date of
Arrival.
