Hi Gents.
Hope you are all well.
I was trying to stay in touch with Chan Rypinski but didn’t see him
on Skype for quite a while.
His son answered my email.  Please forward as appropriate.
Regards,
Jim

Dear Mr. Allen-
It is with great regret that I must report that my father, Chan
Rypinski, died of cancer on July 27. He was 86.
Chan was an engineer, and entrepreneur, and an inventor. He held
eleven patents, and started at least five companies. He was also a
husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 61 years (my mom)
Catherine Birch Rypinski, his brother, Richard Rypinski, two children
(my sister Margaret Buss and myself), and three grandchildren.
I have been looking through his email to identify his friends and
correspondents. If you know anyone who should be notified, I would be
greatful if you could pass the word.
best wishes,
Arthur Rypinski
