Paul has authorized me to conduct a ten day EC mail ballot to approve
hibernation of 802.20 per 5.1.1.1 of the 802 P&P.
802.20 has completed balloting on all its outstanding document and these
documents have now all been approved by the IEEE SAB; furthermore, 802.20
has not received any new project proposal during the past year. In
addition the current membership of the group has decreased to 5 voting
members and the proposal to hibernate has been shared with them and met
with no objection. In light of these circumstances it is proposed that
802.20 be moved into hibernation.
Motion: The EC approves hibernation of the 802.20 working group, effective
immediately.
