Re: [802SEC] Singapore plenary session tutorials
Thanks Lisa and Roger,
I agree that all of them look like they would be of broad interest. It is a good set for opening up including examples reviewing proposed new work and work near completion.
Regards,
Pat

Pat,
They are here:

I think that all of them are of fairly broad interest this time.

I think I'd like to see how we operationalize it there (guest badges, meeting room impact, etc) before making it a general policy for other sessions. I'm assuming we would do some sort of motion to formalize a decision for the Singapore session once we establish that we have consensus. I'm assuming we would run the motion on the reflector rather than wait for the Singapore session itself. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It would help connect us to the local technical community, acting as a kind of extension of the Saturday workshop. The marginal cost to us would be about zero, I think. We would lose out on some revenue that might have been generated from folks who would have attended only the tutorials, but I think it would be a good investment. I suppose another risk is related to the additional uncertainty regarding the number of seats we need. However, I suppose we have sufficient space to handle that.
