[802SEC] RR-TAG Conference Call - November 19th, 2010
Dear RR-TAG and EC,
At today's AM1 TVWS joint meeting with 802.11/802.18/802.19/802.22 it became apparent that there was not enough time and resources (people) available to address all three topics. Those topics were the FCC TVWS rules, the UK Ofcom consultation and the ECC proposal for TVWS rules. It was decided that latter two would be better addressed on a conference call.
The RR-TAG will host a conference call on November 19th to address responses to the above two documents. This email is to provide the 10 day notice for that call.
Bridge details will be sent next week. The call will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST.
The documents for the conference call are on the 802.18 Mentor web site and are:
18-10-0070 - Ofcom consultation on implementing geolocation - comments due December 7th.
18-10-0066 - Draft ECC Rep. 159 CR in White Spaces - comments due on November 30th.
Interested WGs should a) review the documents and b) develop any views prior to the call and c) submit them to the RR-TAG chair NLT the close of business CST on November 17th.
