Dear EC,

Attached is a liaison from ITU-R WP5A regarding the update of Report ITU-R M.2116, "Characteristics of broadband wireless access systems operating in the land mobile service for use in sharing studies".

IEEE 802 developed an input, also attached, on this update at the July, 2009 Plenary session. If there is a need for a further submission it would need to be completed no later than the March, 2010 Plenary session. WP5A's next meeting is 10 - 21 May in Geneva.
