Re: [802SEC] Results of second recirculation of 802.20 draft
Arnie,
I don't understand the line about keeping votes confidential.
A) This has been sent on the IEEE 802 EC reflector which has a public
archive so the files attached are public.
B) The version of these before the UC-EC review was also sent out on the
EC reflector - so (almost) all the information has been out there
publically for quite a while without any indication it was confidential
- in theory one could pull the files off the archive but they will still
be out there.

Dear Unconflicted EC Members,
Per the 05DEC2007 SASB directive "The unconflicted LMSC EC shall review
the votes cast, audit the ballots and produce a modified tally for use
in determining success of the ballot, need for and scope of
recirculation and for submittal along with raw tallies to RevCom when
balloting is complete."
Attached are the results and the details of the individual to bloc
mapping of the 802.20 Sponsor Ballot 2nd recirculation, as audited and
approved for distribution to you by the 802.20 Oversight Committee
(Arnie, Geoff and Takefman). The UC-EC had previously undertaken a
review of the results and voted to forward the 802.20 draft to REVCOM.
The bloc vote mappings reflect the results of the UC-EC discussion.
This submission to the UC-EC formally provides the summary of the vote
tally and the individual ballot results. No additional action is
required of the UC-EC in response to this submission.
All members of the EC are included on this distribution; please keep the
individual votes confidential among those on this email; the EC, the
802.20 Oversight Committee and IEEE Staff for now.
Regards,
Arnie Greenspan
Chair 802.20 Oversight Committee
Mark Klerer
Chair 802.20
