Matt,
Maybe during the Sunday night rules meeting you can explain the rules on this. I assumed that press releases were suppose to go through the EC like we typically do. If there is an option to go directly to the SA I would like to understand that option. The Sunday night rules meeting is probably a good time to discuss this topic if time is available.
I was glad to see you comment on this since you handle the P&P.

I think this is coming out on behalf of IEEE or IEEE-SA rather than
IEEE802. Though I agree it would have been nice if we had the chance to
