Clause 7 says: "The LMSC organization consists of the Executive
Committee, the Working Groups and Technical Advisory Groups [that
develop the draft standards, recommended practices, and guides], and
Study Groups."
So EC members are LMSC members. Not to worry.
[I'm worried about one ambiguity; named "Balloting Group" is also
including in Clause 7. I hope this doesn't mean that balloting groups
members are LMSC members.]
The issue of the need for ex-officio status is, I believe, a separate
issue.
