Consistent with the approval of the motion by a majority of the EC,
P802.3-2005/Cor1 will be submitted to RevCom for consideration at the
June meeting.
As was probably obvious, most of the conditions required to allow the
project to remain on the RevCom agenda were fulfilled prior to the
initiation of this ballot. With the close of this ballot, all required
conditions have been fulfilled to leave this project on the June RevCom
agenda:
1. As previously indicated, the one disapprove voter changed their vote
via email, putting the approval rate at 100%.
2. The publication editor has agreed with the decision of the WG Chair
that the two changes described in the background information are
non-substantive.
3. With the one negative balloter changing their vote, and no
unsatisfied comments requiring recirculation, and no need to recirculate
the non-substantive changes recommended for inclusion in the draft, the
last balloted draft P802.3-2005/Cor1/D2.0 will be submitted to RevCom
with the two recommended draft changes being referred to the editor for
consideration during publication preparation.
On behalf of IEEE 802.3 and the users of its standards, I thank the EC
for granting this short ballot in March and thank those EC members that
responded to the short ballot enabling this Corrigendum to receive
RevCom consideration in June instead of it being delayed to September.

Approval
All,
I designated Bob Grow to conduct the ballot at the March 2006 plenary
session. I apologize for not making that clear at the time.
Bob Grow has made the motion, received a second (Roger Marks) and I
consider
the ballot to have started when the second was publically announced
(4:35pm
et 19APR). The duration is 5 days, the ballot closes 4:35pm et
24APR2006.
I expect Bob Grow to tally and announce the interim and final results as
he
sees fit.
Regards,
--Paul Nikolich
802 Chairman
