Subject: [802SEC] *** SEC Five Day Review*** Comments on FCC ET Docket
05-356, Request for Waiver
Dear SEC Members,
Attached are the comments that the RR-TAG proposes to file with the FCC.
The comments are in opposition to waivers being requested to allow a 1W
transmit power and an exception to the PSD limit contained in the FCC
rules (15.247). As a communication by a WG or TAG with a government body
a five day EC review period is required.
The RR-TAG is conducting an electronic ballot and a 75% majority is
needed. That ballot closes at midnight 27 January.
The date for comments to be received by the FCC is 30 January.
Since there isn't time after a successful RR-TAG ballot for an EC review
I am asking that the EC review begin today, 24 January. That review is
conditioned by 1) the RR-TAG approving the comments in their ballot and
2) that no changes of substance will be made to the document as it
appears in this email.
I propose that the EC review closes on 29 January. At that time I will
also advise the EC if the ballot was successful.
Regards,
Mike
