Paul and other EC colleagues,
Unless the EC feels it inappropriate, my wife has a 501(c)3
non-profit called Lehigh Wildcare - she's licensed by the PA State Game
Commission as a wildlife rehabilitator and operates the only licensed wildlife
rehab facility within about an hour's drive radius of here.
Lehigh Wildcare lives entirely on donations (mostly from
folks who bring injured or orphaned wildlife to the rehab center) and pays NO
salaries. (For my wife,
it's a "full-time job," but she receives no compensation
whatsoever.)
Last year Lehigh Wildcare cared for approximately 2,000
injured or orphaned wild animals, provided numerous education programs to
school, scout, and other youth groups, and is recognized in the community as
providing a valuable public service.
An LCD prjector would be very useful for Lehigh Wildcare's
educational and fund-raising programs.
If anyone on the EC would like to check it out, you can go
to http://www.lehighwildcare.org/
Regards,
Carl
