The next IEEE 802 Plenary Session will definitely be held November 14-19, 2004, in San Antonio, TX.
Due to the continued growth of the IEEE 802, we have three hotels available for room accommodations, the Hyatt Regency San Antonio, the Wyndham St. Anthony, and the Emily Morgan. Additional meeting space at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center will be used for the Opening Plenary, evening Tutorials & Call for Interests, and some Working Group Plenary Meetings. Please check for your preferred Working Group below and make your room reservation accordingly. The following link is for making web reservations at all three contracted November 2004 IEEE 802 Plenary Session Hotels.

IEEE 802 Group Rate: A limited number of Early-Bird rooms are available for early bookers at the discounted rate of $160/ night. Once those rooms are gone, all remaining rooms will be booked at the $190/night rate. Both rates are for single/double occupancy plus tax per night.

Parking: $16/day (+tax) Valet, with in and out privileges, $7/day Self-Park. If you self park, exact change is required and there are no in-and-out privileges. Event parking (attending meetings for the day, but not staying overnight) is available for $5/day.
Please note: Reservation requests received after the cut off date (Friday, October 29, 2004) will be accepted on a space available basis and will still honor the 802 conference rates. A major credit card guarantee or one night (room + tax) deposit will be required to secure your reservation. Your deposit will be refunded (or the guarantee released), if the reservation is cancelled according to the policy stated for the hotel. Late cancellations and "No-Shows" will be assessed a one night (room + tax) penalty.
Please make your reservation as soon as possible since we are competing for rooms with a Citywide Convention in San Antonio. If you miss the opportunity to book with one of our hotels above, there is a good chance that alternate accommodations will be very hard to find in the near-by area.

Session Registration: Any individual who attends any part of a meeting that is a scheduled part of an 802 Plenary Session must register for the session. Registration is available through a secure website or at the On-Site Registration Desk at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio. Pre-registration is available through the website only, NO checks are accepted for pre-registration. The web pre-registration fee is $300. Pre-registration closes at 6pm PT, Friday, October 29, 2004 (UTC time: Saturday, October 30, 2004, 1am). After the close of pre-registration, the web registration fee is $350. Web registration fees must be paid by credit card. Your credit card is billed at the time you register! The On-Site registration fee is $350 and can be paid by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, by personal, company, or traveler's checks (in US$ only), or by US cash. All checks must be made payable to "IEEE 802". Registrations may be canceled subject to the terms !
