RE: [802SEC] Joint Press Release on Network Services Contract
Howard, That statement is actually correct and accurate, and Paul is comfortable with it. IDEAL has done an excellent and consistent job over several meetings and that is the primary reason we selected them for the two-year contract. Good News doesn't always have to be hype !!! :-)
The test I used was is everything from us or our point of view correct and accurate (i.e. not exaggerated) ??? I think it is.
I respect your right to disagree. :-)
Thanx, Buzz

How can it be said that this draft release "avoids commercial endorsements",
when it contains the quote:
"We chose I.D.E.A.L. because they have done an excellent and consistent
job of supporting our networking needs during our previous meetings
at several different venues."
This sure sounds like a commercial endorsement to me. Taken as a whole,
the release is a glowing commercial endorsement of I.D.E.A.L., and contains
no news worthy information about the IEEE 802 LMSC. In this form it should
be released by I.D.E.A.L. with what ever quotes they can get approved by
the individuals quoted. It should definitely NOT be made as a joint release
from IEEE 802 and I.D.E.A.L..
