Re: Fw: COOKIES, oops no I mean NETWORKING for upcoming IEEE 802 meeting
Mike, you bring up a good question - Do you have the right to be on the SEC
reflector as an SEC sponsored study group.
While you certainly don't get to vote on the various issues that come up, it
appears reasonable to me that since the SEC reflector is also used to
circulate various housekeeping messages such as what size meeting room and
equipment will you need at the next meeting, that all SEC appointed or
approved Study Group Chairs should be immediately placed on the SEC
reflector.
Paul, do you agree? Do we need to take any kind of SEC affirmative action
to make this happen (such as approving a motion) or can we simply institute
this as a policy?
Are there any other opinions out there about adding SEC appointed/approved
Study Group Chairs to the SEC reflector?
Is there any reason that we should need to put this on the Monday morning
agenda? I, for one, would think we could implement this suggestion without
motions or discussion, assuming there are no significantly contrary opinions
voiced on this reflector.
Best regards,
