Draft Press Release - 802.11
I will be circulating the following press release for SEC ballot in a few
days. Comments are welcome before final circulation for approval. Please
note that these press releases are drafts only, as many editorial
modifications are usually made between approval by SEC and final publication
by either Computer Society or IEEE.
At the July meeting in La Jolla, the press release was approved for release
contingent upon approval of the PAR by 802 ExCom. Motion passed 37-0-6 in
HRb Study Group and passed in the 802.11 Working Group on a vote of 42-0-12.
