Meet w/ the Stds Board in 2002

Taking into account:
1) Standards Board Meetings Series are for three days. Howard, Geoff and I
are busy MOST of the time those three days, so it is not clear how we can
multiplex between the 802 meetings and the Standards Board Meetings.

2) Holding these meetings in parallel would make submissions into NesCom and
RevCom awkward timings. Normally SEC approves the final submissions on
Thursday evening, so the IEEE meetings would need to occur after this.

The result is that a reasonable (or unreasonable) meeting schedule would be:

IEEE 802 - Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs
IEEE Standards Board - Fri, Sat, Sun (or possibly Thur, Fri Sat)

This may not work well with current hotel agreements, but we could pursue.
The other issue is that there will be little direct interaction with 802,
since most leave quickly after the meetings are over.

Howard and all,

I like the idea--let's get 802 closer to the Stds Board--it can only help.
Sooner is better in my opinion--let's try to make it happen for March 2001.
How about Boston for March 2002 (downtown Boston this time Buzz)?
