Dear Friends:
It is with great sadness, I like to forward the news of demise of Jean-Jacques
Werner. He participated in providing his expertise in IEEE 802.9. Jacques was well
known in research community for his pioneering efforts in Modem technology.
I personall encountered his association in critiquing of my own research while I was
at Stevens Institute of Technology.
His sudden demise is a great loss to the telecommunications community.
I hope that you will join me in praying for peace to the soul and Jacques family.
Thanks

I thought that I would forward some sad news about a MAN
that was very significant a contributor to IEEE 802.9's base standard
in the physical transceiver, as well as a legend in the data modem
industry.
